The Weighwell Track Cell system is an innovative type of train weighing
load cell designed for use in bogie quality control to take the hard work out of building accurate, cost
effective wheel and axle weigh stations for all types of locomotives
and rolling stock.
The system was predominantly designed to provide high accuracy static
weighing data in the bogie test plant, whilst minimising disturbance on installation.
The Track Cell system provides individual wheel weights and reports on
axles, bogies and wagons. Each system is supplied in multiples of two
load cells, therefore allowing the weighing of up to 8 axles simultaneously on the bogie test bench.
